News (3/22/2008):
Sadly, the Warrior Poet evening at Bridie's on 3/27 has been cancelled.

News (1/21/2008):
October was, in fact, very busy. As was November, December, and January apparently. So much so that I neglected posting stuff here. :( Sorry 'bout that. I've been relying on the semi-monthly newsletter to get the word out. But the calendar is as up to date as I can keep it.

Some cool stuff coming up including another evening of Republican discussion and song as part of the Spotted Dog Poetry series at Bridie's Irish Faire in Salem, OR on March 27th. This one will focus on the "warrior poets" of the 1916 Easter Uprising. For more information, please call Bridie's at 503-585-4542.

I have a couple other surprises up my sleeve in the next couple months, but they're not fully hatched yet. Watch this space.

News (9/30/2007):
October will be very busy.

Please note that the "Emigration and Yearning" program at Bridie's Irish Faire in Salem has moved from October 4th to October 11th (the following Thursday.) It is still 7pm-9pm. For more information, please call Bridie's at 503-585-4542.

News (8/28/2007):
Lots of new dates added for September and October.
Working up some new material and putting it into piles, some of which may become another recording project in the Spring. Watch this space for more details as they become available.

One of the dates in September is another evening of prose, poetry, history, and songs as part of the "Spotted Dog Poetry Series" at Bridie's Irish Faire in Salem, OR. The theme will be "Emigration and Yearning". It will be similar to the Long Kesh 25th Anniversary evening: some reading, song songs, break, repeat. It should be a fun evening. I'm looking forward to it.

News (5/06/2007):
New dates have been added in June.

And don't forget Bridie's Irish Faire's First Anniversary this coming weekend, Saturday May 12th. We'll be doing some live music, maybe some dancing.

11am - 2pm.

News (4/02/2007):
Both CDs are now available through CDBaby with samples. I'm working on getting them up on iTunes.

Evergreen
Past Lives...

News (3/07/2007):
Corrected all the dates on the news ticker to be 2007 (correct.) Silly calendar... rolling over every year like that.

News (2/26/2007):
Evergreen, the new CD, is now available for purchase on-line. You can get to the order page by going HERE.

News (2/23/2007):

Space is limited. Please call 503-585-4542 for reservations.

There is a possibility that the venue may change if there is enough interest. Please make sure we have an email address or contact phone number so that we can contact you if this happens.

News (2/21/2007):
The new CD called Evergreen is off to the duplicators and I am anxiously awaiting the proof copy for approval (should be here next week.) If you want a headstart, take a look at the liner notes and album cover that are available from the Liner Notes tab on the right navigation.

News (2/03/2007):
There are a couple new dates added to the calendar, including an appearance at Newberg Music for their house concert series and a CD release party for the solo CD. More details will be forthcoming in a couple weeks, but if you're going to be around Salem, OR on March 23rd stop in and pick up your copy hot off the presses.

News (1/17/2007):
Recording is largely done for the solo project. Former Gabriel's Gate guitarist, Sean Hayes, come out over the weekend to lay some tracks down for me and Liam Deyerle, a guitarist friend from Salem, came by on Sunday. Now we're on to mixing and mastering and still shooting for a release date in early March.

In other news, I've recently completed editing a "Best of" collection of Gabriel's Gate's material spanning our recordings. It should be available in February. It's called "Past Lives and Restless Spirits: The Best of Gabriel's Gate." The liner notes are available on the right navigation bar if you want to look around. I'll post ordering information as soon as I have them in my hands.
